Preserving the Vibrancy: 4 Tips on Caring for Your Limited Edition Garments

With a set amount of each piece ever being made, it is crucial to understand how to preserve their quality and vibrancy, which will also lead to contributing to sustainable fashion practices (keeping them lasting a lifetime). In this blog, we'll explore expert tips to keep your pieces as radiant as the day you bought them.
1. Understanding the Fabric:
Each Neon Darling piece is crafted with high-quality materials. Most pieces are 100% cotton, in some cases fabric may be a different composition, but you can always check the label/product description of the item and follow the recommended care instructions listed.
2. Washing with Care:
To preserve the neon colours and intricate designs, we recommend washing these garments inside out in a cold cycle with like colours (or solo). Using a gentle detergent/powder and avoiding bleach can help maintain the fabric's integrity and colour. Any of the lighter fabrics that are too light or too dark for your normal washes, we recommend washing alone in their own cycle to avoid colour transfer from other clothing.
3. Drying Techniques:
High temperatures can be detrimental to the fabric and prints. We always recommend air drying rather than machine drying. Turn the item the right way out, give it a good shake, and then hang out of direct sunlight to dry. If you must use a dryer, always choose a low heat setting and put it with other clothing to minimise the risk of heat exposure.
4. Ironing and Storage:
Ironing should be done cautiously, preferably inside out and at low temperatures or right way around with a tea-towel in between. Store your clothing in a place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
BONUS TIP
If you ever find marks on your screen printed shirts, did you know there is a safe way to remove them?
Grab a cotton ball and a little bit of isopropyl alcohol, wipe the effected area and most of the mark should come off. Make sure to run the shirt through the wash afterwards to remove the alcohol and any leftover parts of the mark. It may take a couple of goes to remove if the mark is heavy.

The glow in the dark design once charged is really bright and the colour compliments the rest of the design.

This is a great looking cyberpunk style sticker, i have added to the spine on my back windows it is the perfect size for a tiny banner or a spine sticker. Quality is great and has not disappointed

As someone who has recently converted to lanyards/keychains, I noticed how many actually break at the clip on point. I got this shirt the second it was released k was so excited. I don't usually do that for clothes. The shirt fits so well and makes me feel really good about how I look. I got a 3xl as I like oversized and I'm a really big fan of the length of it too, as a taller person. If you love anything pastel/neon, it's an easy cop.
